Aquos R5G Review

The Sharp Aquos R5G is one of the latest high-end smartphones from the Japanese company. It features the latest CPU, a high-resolution camera, and an 8K video recording capacity. This smartphone also supports the 5G network. It also features a 1440 x 3168-pixel display with a notch. The battery life is decent for a phone this expensive. But is it worth the extra cost? Let’s take a closer look.

Sharp’s Aquos R5G is an ultra-premium smartphone by Sharp. It comes with the most recent Snapdragon 865 CPU and a high-resolution camera that has 8K video recording capability and 5G support right from the beginning.

Aquos R5G For Mobile Gaming

The phone has a powerful Snapdragon 865 CPU which makes it a very powerful device for Graphic Intense Gaming. Moreover, due to a larger and brighter display, the gaming experience on this phone is very immersive and realistic.

Display

The Sharp Aquos R5G features a 6.5-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 1000 nits. The device has a screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels. The screen is bright and clear with an impressive refresh rate making it an ideal gaming phone. It comes with an overhead notch that houses cameras for selfies. Moreover, the phone is great for watching movies on Youtube and Netflix.

Aquos R5G’s 6.5-inch display offers a large viewing area for watching movies and TV shows. Its octa-core processor runs at 1.8GHz, providing fast processing speeds. It also boasts a Li-Po 3730 mAh battery that provides a solid battery backup. It has the same wide colour gamut as professional monitors.

Camera

It also has a four-camera array around the back and an ultra-wide camera with a ToF sensor. The battery on the Sharp Aquos is huge at 3730 mAh and supports NFC and WiFi 6. It is IP68-waterproof and dust-proof, making it a great choice for those who need a water-resistant phone.

The primary sensor is a 12-megapixel sensor with Optical Image Stabilization and f/1.7 aperture.
The other three (3) sensors located at the back are an ultra-wide-angle lens of 48-megapixel with an f/2.9 aperture.
A 12-megapixel telephoto lens a 4th ToF sensor.
There’s one 16-megapixel sensor on the front equipped with HDR and up to 1080p@30fps recording to take unbelievable selfies.
